Fingerless gloves, armwarmers {or whatever you’d like to call them!} have become a necessity for me. My art studio is in the basement, and for some reason, it’s just plain colder down here! I always have a pair on hand to wear in the studio, and as the weather gets a bit warmer, I’ll wear them out and about.
I have two new favorite glove makers. The first, Overcast, is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. All of her armwarmers {above} are made from 100% merino wool, are super cozy, and go with anything! I really love these. She also offers a lighter weight style for spring.
Next are fingerless gloves by Tinker and Po. Based in Chicago, her gloves are made from repurposed sweaters and are embellished with sweet little buttons. My 12 year old daughter swiped my pair right away…I think they might officially be hers now! Also, 10% of all sales are donated to autism research in their son, Declan’s, name.
One of my favorite fashion blogs is Garance Doré. I became obsessed with finding a fringe necklace after this post {see it…peeking out from under her SUPER stylish outfit?!!}. Well, I found two great Etsy shops with fringe! The first is Norwegian Wood (named after the song}. Based in Montreal, not only do they have really cute necklaces but fringey skirts too. If you’re in Montreal, check out their brick and mortar. Learn more here.

Second is a great shop called Babooshka Boutique. Pittsburgh based, recent design school graduate, Babooshka has some beautiful pieces. I love the black one with charms {above, left}. Sweet!
I’ve posted about Baggu bags before, but just had to post again…because they have ADORABLE limited-edition heart bags for Valentine’s Day. They come with a little card, too. Perfect for you’re eco-minded Valentine! I always keep a couple of these bags in my purse…so no matter where I go, I can use cloth instead of plastic {despite the frequent eye-rolls from baggers or sales clerks}. They are super strong too. I just can’t say enough. Oh, and when you order, ask them to send you a stack of business cards, because every-other time you go to the grocery store, someone will ask where you got them.
The tooth fairy kit by Office of the Tooth Fairy is the cutest thing ever! The certificate is letterpressed, and has the most adorable winged tooth insignia. It sure beats my ziplock bag of kids teeth that I {for whatever reason} tucked away until I could show my kids, and TOTALLY gross them out. EEW! Thanks to blogs “Oh Happy Day” and “Design Crush” for finding this!
