I met Kelly Ventura at Renegade a few weeks ago…she had a wonderfully successful show {we bought the last cream scarf, above}, and has just re-opened her Etsy shop {it was hard to wait, I tell you!!}. I love her designs…especially her screen printed sheet sets. So soft and pretty! Oh, and her tees have just the right amount of embellishment. Sweet!

Instead of posting music for “tuesday tunes”, I thought I’d post some music-inspired jewelry.

Texas Tarts fashions old vinyl records into funky jewelry. Each of her pieces is named after an ’80s tune {I’m old enough to get the references}…and I love the ’80s vibe of the charm bracelets…CUTE!

I’ve been looking for a new laptop bag or briefcase lately…and I’ve found quite a few that I love. But, it seems like the ones I like the most are in the $500 range. Apparently, making a bee line to the most expensive item in a store is a fine-tuned skill I’ve developed over the years.

I was really happy to find the messenger bags from Stash on 1000 Markets. Theirs are moderately priced – just under $100, and even that cute green clutch is about $50! I love the use of vintage plaids and pinstripe suiting…and the little leather clasps are a nice detail too!

How cute and sexy is this lingerie and loungewear from Sandmaiden Sleepwear?! {how I dread the spammers that will find my blog with words like “sexy” and “lingere” in this post!} But, everything looks so comfy and cute, I just have to share with everyone…I just wish I remembered what blog I read about this on first…let me know if it was you!

She also has another shop, Sandmaiden custom wool knits and loungewear, with some really nice pieces as well.

Hope everyone had a fun weekend! Mine was crazy busy…and I only had two hours to swing by the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago. It’s my very favorite craft fair, filled with tons of indie talent…and I only made it to maybe a quarter of the booths. I promised some vendors that I’d swing by and say hi, and didn’t have the time…

…That doesn’t mean that I didn’t spend WAY more than I should have in that small amount of time. It’s one of my talents…spending money in record time!!

My very very very favorite thing that I bought at Renegade was a bracelet from the super-sweet Sasha from Sasha Bell Jewelry. It’s pictured in the bottom, right. I will wear it daily. I almost bought the antique glass locket too {bottom, left}…can’t quite get it out of my head…
