It’s shameless self-promotion time! Thought I’d share my little business with you.
My business partner and I founded our stationery company, Zuzu’s Petals in 2001…and are in the process of moving to Etsy. We just opened shop last week, and are really excited about the move!
My very favorite thing that we make is our note pads {and, so far, it’s the only thing we have on Etsy}. Each pad is designed, printed, cut and glued by hand in our studio…They are only $5.50, and make perfect little gifts for girlfriends, teachers, yoga instructors….or anyone on your list!
We also sell our designs on our Cafe Press site…lots of tees, mugs, water bottles…etc. etc. etc!!
Well, that’s enough about me for now!
LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY!!! {can you tell I’m a little excited?!} I ordered the little ballet slipper bag from the fabulous gals at Chria…it’s for my niece…AND, they sent me the adorable tree purse as a sweet surprise! Oh my!!
Everything about the package was cute…the illustrations on the box…the handmade cards…adorable packaging. I’m just blown away at every little detail on their items….Tiny beads, layers of fabric, embellishments galore. Their site just can’t do it all justice. And they are absolutely the sweetest gals, too! Totally made my day!
I love the clothes made by Jacqueline at California based Lamixx. They are stylish, wearable and at a fantastic price point. I love the off-the-shoulder top {above, right}…it’s totally “me”…or, at least in my head, I think I can look as sexy as that model!! Great pieces, all of them!
And, here’s the best news, Lamixx is offering a 10% discount to you, my fabulous readers…it’s for the next two days, so make sure you place your order soon! Just enter “nonpareil” at checkout…hurrah for deals!
Improbable Projects makes some of the coolest items I have seen…fabric woven from recorded cassette tapes, and made into ties and hats! Incredible, and done with style. I think the ties are great {and apparently, so did Jason Mraz…he wore one to the Grammys} What a perfect gift for your favorite music lover {look at me…finding more stuff for guys!!}…
You can can even “play” the fabric if you use a tape head! Here’s a video with more info:
New York based Lex Luxe jewelry uses a really interesting technique on some of their designs. It’s called “Keum-Boo”, and is the ancient Japanese art of burnishing 24kt gold onto sterling silver. I think the result is gorgeous…like the necklace in the center…I’m smitten. I really love all of the pieces. Had a hard time narrowing down a few to post here!
