I think Ohio based, TsuruBride is my new favorite designer. Not just because of the name, and story behind it, {read about it here…I’m a huge *Decemberists fan too} but because you just can’t go wrong with a gold lamé dog purse!! Seriously. All her items are adorable. TsuruBride will be at Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago on the 12th and 13th, so I look forward to seeing her goods in all their fabulousness in person!

*If you don’t know the Decemberists, you should give them a listen…the older their music, the better it is, in my humble opinion…

I’m such a fan of repurposed or upcycled clothing. I especially like the little wallets and coin purses by Loscann. What a great idea…she makes them from men’s vintage ties! Very sweet. Check out her shop on Etsy!

Hollyhawk has the most adorable leather accessories. Designer, Holly Strate’s designs are modern and stylish. I love her use of color too. She offers card cases, purses, jewelry and leather wrist cuffs. Really great stuff! Make sure to check out her site.

In the spirit of Halloween, I thought I’d take a look at one of my favorite little trends…the mustache! {even though none of these items are Halloween-y}. One of my favorite design blogs, Decor 8 was WAY ahead of me to catch on to this trend…click here to see her post about it. Thought I’d do my part to spread the mustache love.

The mustache pencils are from ATYPYK I love the variations {Salvador, Zorro, Burt, Django and Clark}. Hysterical! Atypyk is a super cool site too, by the way.

The mustache magnets are from Nice Designs. Love these! Plenty of other funky magnets and things on her site.

The glassware is from Bread and Badger. They have lots of other cute etched glassware too…I especially love the robots!

Last but not least are the handkerchiefs from Avril Loreti. Her site is filled with fantastic little napkins and handkies {check out the chairs, and fortunes on cocktail napkins!!}.

I found Three Green Apples cute shop on Bust’s online blog. Owner Rina is the genius behind her Pursonal hygiene cases {above, right}. What a great idea! Two sizes are available {depending on what type of tampons you use}. Might as well have something cute to keep your tampons and pads in during that ever-so-special time of the month. Her site also has really cute purses {like the little clutch shown above}, and adorable plush elephants as well.

In a drastic departure from sweet necklaces with flowers (from my last post)…I’m totally loving these tattoo-inspired belts by Jon Wye. I’m thinking jeans and a tee-shirt with one of these funky belts…choose the buckle to match. He also sells wrist cuffs, and some great tees on his site. Check it out!

I get teased for my hats. Mostly by my husband…but I put up with the grief because I love wearing them. Piper and Paisley is my newest find. The shape is an easy one for anyone to wear, and goes with just about anything. Her hats are made in Montana with fun fabrics, and are custom sized…perfect for those of us with an extra-big melon Check out her shop!

Another new favorite. Flowie has bags, pillows, scarves and table linens all designed by textile designer Yaling Hou. I love her organic style…and her floral print “gerrie” is fantastic. a must have.
