I ordered the green capri pants from Kaya Yoga Wear {bottom, right photo}…and they just arrived. I LOVE them! They are made from a really thick fabric, and fit like a dream….no muffin top, and no bagging in the booty or stretching out. I wish I had ordered some more! The tops in her shop are really cute as well.

If only I hadn’t screwed up my shoulder, I would actually be able to wear them while doing yoga!! I’m out for a few weeks doing physical therapy. Problem is, I think I’m still 25, and my body is telling me NO. *Sigh*

The first is Rotem Gear….I’ve “known” designer R. Jean Roth for years online…and have been a fan of her tees for years as well. I especially love her Jewish and Asian themed items…the boba tea is my new fave!. {And, for the record, I do feel a bit strange admitting that I have online “friends”…but she’s super nice!}:

The next brand is from Ex-Boyfriend Collection. My son is actually crazy about everything on their site…and in my shopping cart is the Goat Tee shirt…I think it’s hilarious. By the way, I feel old because cassette tapes are considered “retro”, but I like the graphic:

Last but not least are a couple of tees from Anomalous. Made by an adorable young couple…I love the edginess of their shirts…AND that a portion of each sale goes to a different charity, depending on the shirt!:

From Brooklyn, mydearthing is fantastic indie clothing label designed by Lauren Jones, a former knitwear designer for Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie…{this gal knows her stuff}. All the pieces have great style, and are so wearable!! I love every single piece

Hurrah for the internet!! I just love getting to know gals from far-flung places…like Puppy and Chris from Chria, in Brazil. They are long-time readers of my blog, and have a super cute blog of their own, as well as an online shop. Their shop oozes with cuteness…pillows, purses, scrapbooks…lots of hearts, flowers and bright colors, all handmade with incredible detailing. I asked for some photos, and they sent me the layout above! They also make custom nurse uniforms…adorable!

Everything is so festive…get me out of this freezing cold and off to Brazil!

My head is still in Hawaii. I’ve been home for a week now, but am having a tough time adjusting back to freezing temps…brr…

Just one more find from Hawaii for you…I found the cutest shop in one of my favorite little towns in Kauai. It’s called A. Ell Designs, and it is located in Kapaa. The owner, Angelique, sews her clothing right there in her shop…I bought super-soft bamboo tee shirts for my daughter and myself. Her shop is bright and cheery and full of handmade goods by all sorts of great local designers. What a find! She carries a few items on her site…or her Etsy shop as well.

Can you tell that I’m trying to mentally prepare myself for winter?! I’ve found more fabulous indie-made coats…this time, from De Novo. The designer writes that she started her coat making career making coats for her dog at age 7! How sweet! I LOVE the coat on the bottom right…

What kind of cuteness are the tees and plush from Belgium based Plush?!! Their little creatures have such great character. Their sizes run from 3-6 months all the way up to 6 years. So cute!

I love the photos too…aren’t those kids are adorable! Oh how much I’d have to pay to get my dishwater-blond to look that gorgeous…ha ha!

I’m a big dork…I’ve been visiting this tweed wrap coat {above, left} for a week now. Debating. Imagining just how cute it would look with every single one of my outfits. I keep a tab open on my browser so I can take a little visit every now and then…! I’ve been obsessing a little…ok. a lot.

It’s from the Scottish designer, 13 Threads…and I think her pieces are all beautiful. I might not be able to resist the coat…I won’t be quite as cranky this winter with a cozy Scottish coat wrapped around me! That’s a win win!

How cute and sexy is this lingerie and loungewear from Sandmaiden Sleepwear?! {how I dread the spammers that will find my blog with words like “sexy” and “lingere” in this post!} But, everything looks so comfy and cute, I just have to share with everyone…I just wish I remembered what blog I read about this on first…let me know if it was you!

She also has another shop, Sandmaiden custom wool knits and loungewear, with some really nice pieces as well.

First, is the fabulous map jewelry from Sherry Truitt. I’m in love with the bracelet, and think it would be great to have one custom made with a favorite vacation spot, or hometown! And, Sherry is just as sweet as she can be!

Next, is the fabulously talented Rachel Culp and her shop Deep Blue C. Rachel is also a Southern California girl living in the Midwest…and has been sewing her funky clothes for over 20 years. Her list of rock star customers is extensive, too…I just love her jackets for kids…so sweet!!

Last, but not least are the shops Uncorked, and Polarity {owned by the same clever and creative momma}. The fantastic necklaces are made with repurposed and sustainably harvested cork as well as recycled steel. The packaging is fantastic too…I love her test-tubes!! She also has a really sweet blog called Olive Bites.
