I’m loving all of the indie clothing designers that are popping up on Etsy these days. Need It is a great example, and I especially love the cozy looking cardigans….I can’t believe I’m already jonesin’ for fall clothes…remind me of this when I’m complaining about the winter weather, would ya?!
That’s right, people, Kansas. Erin Leigh Heart always has something new and cute in her shop of handmade clothes…from Lawrence, Kansas! Right now, I’m loving the charcoal maxi dress {bottom, left}. She also has a great blog where you can see her newest styles when she adds them…
I could totally live in sweats. It’s a dangerous thing, really. I was so happy to learn about Recession Proof‘s totally comfy and cute clothes. It’s like the best of both worlds {the sweats vs. wearing something cute worlds, that is}. I love the pencil skirt, and that vest and tank top are great together. LOVE!
ps. thanks to Tara from Handmade in PA blog for discovering Recession Proof!
Another one of the wonderful vendors I got to meet this past weekend is Julie from Juliet Jewelry. We shared lots of great stories…what a fantastic person she is! We also share the same favorite quirky movie: “Harold and Maude”…
I really hope you can tell by the photos just how gorgeous her jewelry is. Her booth was right next to ours, so it was VERY dangerous for me to be so close to such lovely things. Her pieces called to me {“Stacy…buy me” is what they were saying}. I love the necklace in the center of the picture above …and I’ve worn the piece I bought from her every day this week.
I spent the past weekend at a craft show with my business partner hawking our stationery. It was slower than we had hoped, but there were some great vendors there to chat it up with in our down time…my favorite part of doing the craft show thing!
This is where I got to meet Lesley from Chicago based Squasht by Les. I originally found her work last year at the Renegade Craft Fair, and bought a couple of hats from her back then. Last weekend, I bought the cute hat and grey top {above, center + right}. I love them, and had to stop myself from buying more of her stuff! Her designs are stylish, and really well made…I love her fabrics too…and to top it off, she’s a super nice girl. Check out her site!
