I recently discovered Wisconsin based Dodge Station Pottery on Eddie Ross‘ design blog. I love the oyster colored glaze on their dinnerware…and the simple bowls are wonderful. Love them. Dodge Station Pottery has been making ceramics since 1978. They are family run business, and have a fantastic website…make sure you visit their “around the shop” photos. It will make you want to move to the country {if you don’t already}. They have an Etsy shop too! Enjoy.
I put honey on everything {my newest fave is on greek yogurt}. I usually buy a big jug of it from the local farmers market, and it doesn’t last long in our house. The problem is, pouring the honey from the jug onto a peanut butter sandwich makes a mess of EPIC proportions. So, I recently set out to find a sweet little container for our honey. Seattle based Barbara Dunshee pottery is where I found the perfect little pot! It’s like the little cream-colored pot above, and I just love it! The shape is perfect, and the little ball on top is such a nice touch. Barbara is quite the accomplished artist. Her entire shop is filled with beautiful pieces. I absolutely adore her green and red color combinations, and her “Lively Lidded Vessels” are stunning.
How cute are these ceramics by Minneapolis based artist Emily Dyer?!! I’m smitten with her sweet little bird illustrations…and the swirls and flowers. Ooh! I also have a “thing” for mugs. A mug must feel good in my hands while I’m drinking my coffee in the morning…and Emily Dyer’s look like they would just be perfect. Crazy, I know. Her pottery is food safe, and microwave and dishwasher safe too! Visit her etsy shop here.
I just ordered sweet plates from Atelier BB they are on their way…can’t wait!! I just fell in love with the color combinations, and it was really difficult to choose which ones I wanted to buy. Atelier BB has fantastic customer service too! I was able to order more of one design, and it was handcrafted and shipped lickedy split {have to use that expression every once and a while!}. Check out her other site as well…really cool stuff.
What a fantastic find…the beautiful ceramics from Plum Home. Canadian based Bronwyn is the creator of these really great pieces with simple shapes and wonderful colors which she sells at her Etsy shop. She also makes art tiles at Lingua Terra. My favorite is the Hacienda collection. What I wouldn’t do for a kitchen with those colors. Lovely!
