What fantastic ceramics from Colorado based artist, Elizabeth Robinson. I love her mix of patterns, and her color combos…that little splash of teal-blue {the one that matches my site!!}…and that mug!!! I think it may have the most perfect shape.

I’m completely enamored by Nancy Bauch’s ceramics. Her studio is called White Forest Pottery and has so many absolutely gorgeous pieces! Each of them has such an organic quality…and, of course, I love how the colors match my blog!!

Nancy also takes part in the Water Mala project. I bought one of her little water mala bowls {bottom, right} which sits on my kitchen windowsill.

I was recently searching Etsy for “yoga wear”, and stumbled upon the fabulous ceramics by YogaGoat {named after the artist’s doodle of a goat doing yoga}…I love the lotus designs {can you tell? four out of the 6 photos have the lotus}…and also love the beautiful periwinkle blue that she uses. Gorgeous.

And, how fabulous would the porcelain fortune cookies be as wedding favors?!

The detail on the ceramics from Cynthia Vardhan Ceramics blow me away. Each piece is handcrafted and handpainted from a “proprietary fine translucent porcelain” that the artist formulates and mixes herself. Fancy! The vases are so sweet, and priced well, too…$40…and would make a really nice gift for a girlfriend/sister/mom! Love!

I think that I become more tactile as I get older…I always have to be touching items when I shop…and I have a *thing* about coffee mugs {they just have to feel right}. Maybe that’s what attracts me to London Clay Birds. I just want to hold one in my hand…They are made of both hand-carved wood and clay…

Here’s the artist’s description about the clay:

Made using London clay – a marine deposit from the Palaeogene period, 50/60 million years ago, back when a warm tropical sea covered London. The clay is straight from the earth – dug out from where a Victorian Workhouse once stood in Islington.

I couldn’t resist…bought the ceramic ornament {above} from D.Hergt Design this morning. I love her “jumbley” pieces {above} and those gorgeous shades of greens and blues…and I can’t resist the little swirls and flowers pressed into the porcelain. Some of her pieces have a little ladybug tucked away. So sweet!

Such an aptly named line of ceramics by Kevin O’Shea….HAPPY! I love the shapes, and the designs, and the colors. Ok. Pretty much all of it. The little bowl on the bottom left is a wall vase…swoon!

I love this project by Belgium based Art Mind. It is a series of babushkas with added textures to convey different feelings. Here’s how artist, Mitsy explains it:

“It derives from a project I did many years ago reflecting my self-portrait. I called it ‘how the outside can tell how you feel inside’. I started out with 9 feelings and then I suddenly thought of making 99 of them…”

I love the swirly “giddy” one above…You can see all of the babushkas on her flickr page…or check out her blog…she’s multi-talented, and has lots of crafty things to share…{including a rad scratch-off lottery-ticket tutorial}.

Joanna Mendocino creates wonderful whimsical little ceramic pieces for her shop Pretty Random Objects. I first saw her work on the fantastic blog, Creature Comforts a little bit ago. I’m going through a little ceramics phase these days. can’t seem to get enough. Isn’t that little bird vase the sweetest thing ever?!!
