You may know by now that I’m a little bit dog crazy. Ok, a whole lotta dog crazy. So, I think that the notecards of the sweet pooches by Sibling Rivalrie are super adorable! And, I’m really really wishing I lived closer to Brooklyn so I could have my babies {ahem…dogs} photographed by the talented Winnie…she’s one of a 3-sister collaboration that make up Sibling Rivalrie. That, and I kinda want that couch on the top right picture!

Fellow crazy-dog-lady Leigh Jackson, from Noisy Dog Studio creates some great dog portraits from her Washington studio. They are so sweet! Guess which one of the dog’s above belongs to Eva Longoria?
If you have a rescued or adopted dog, you can submit his or her photo to Noisy Dog Studio’s 2009 Faces of Love project. 10% of the purchases will go to A Place to Bark Animal Rescue in Tennessee {you are not obligated to purchase the portrait}. It’s a win win! If I could only get my daschund, Weenie, to sit still for a minute, I’d send in his picture.
Here are the photos Leigh used for inspiration:

The weenie jokes fly around our house ever since we adopted our sweet little doxie boy with a wicked overbite {named Weenie, in the oval above}. Our 14 year old son is the main reason for the incessant “my weenie does tricks” etc. comments.
While shopping Etsy recently, I found Annie’s Sweatshop, and her sweet sweet little sweaters and things for dogs {and not just weenie dogs}. The fabrics are made of recycled soda bottles…so you’ll be green while keeping your pup warm. She accepts custom orders too, so you’ll get just the right fit for your dog.

Our new painting arrived yesterday (above)…and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I commissioned Chicago based, Anne Leuck Feldhaus to paint a picture of our dear old Basset Hounds who passed away last year. It was a gift for my husband’s birthday. She did an amazing job and captured the essence of our dogs. So so sweet.
A video of herself painting the piece is on her blog.
She also has an Etsy store with little prints and things to buy. I love her style!
