Nonpareil

Who knew?…that a vintage tractor could be turned in to a super-cool table…or that an old piece of farm machinery could make some cute earrings?! Pennsylvania based, The Steel Fork, is a collaboration of husband and wife Ben & Kate Gatski, who create some unique pieces from their rural hilltop in PA. I also love their softer goods…pillows featuring images of their metal animals. and a handwoven hemp table runner {above}. Wonderful stuff!

Such an aptly named line of ceramics by Kevin O’Shea….HAPPY! I love the shapes, and the designs, and the colors. Ok. Pretty much all of it. The little bowl on the bottom left is a wall vase…swoon!

I’m a big fan of Rachel Culp’s funky style {she’s advertised her shop, Deep Blue C, on nonpareil for a really long time}. I asked her to make a custom pillow for my daughter’s room using the Alexander Henry fabric that she uses for some of her clothing…It just arrived, and I had to share!

That’s my girl, Ella, with the pillow {she loves it}…I would love to have shared just how cute it looks in her room…ahem…but it is it’s usual disaster area, so I swiped more pillow photos from the Deep Blue C shop.

I met Kelly Ventura at Renegade a few weeks ago…she had a wonderfully successful show {we bought the last cream scarf, above}, and has just re-opened her Etsy shop {it was hard to wait, I tell you!!}. I love her designs…especially her screen printed sheet sets. So soft and pretty! Oh, and her tees have just the right amount of embellishment. Sweet!

From close to Paris, in a “beautiful, too big, old farm in the middle of nowhere”, comes Bloomsong, and lots of beautiful handmade things. I’m absolutely crazy about the pillows…especially the little pearly-beaded one {my dogs would have a field day…no pillow is safe in our house!!}. Creator, Émilie also makes little lavender sachets, fabric baskets and bibs. All so sweet! Check out more pictures on her flickr page.
